Hi! I’m Lora.

I’m a violinist, a writer, and a pilot. I have degrees in Violin Performance and String Pedagogy and run an online violin studio from my small farm in Oklahoma. As a flight instructor, I’m passionate about aviation and enjoy teaching others to “slip the surly bonds of earth.”

It’s probably no surprise that I love anything with wings—including birds, chickens, and airplanes. When I’m not teaching, reading, writing, or quilting, you can find me a couple thousand feet in the air flying vintage tailwheel airplanes.
